good times, great food and good company

the title is a little misleading.
this post isn't really about good food.
but good times and good company? you bet!!
and lots of pics if you can make it through this post, i congratulate you.
ok lets start: the above picture is my boyfriend zach's birthday. he turned this many (i am holding up a hand with my 5 fingers.) i love him and so glad i got to do the pinata. this kid is the greatest.

summers been a blast. i have been hanging out with these kids a lot. well, as much as i can. (KATE: where were you?) (i try to hang out with kate as well.) if the day does not consist of seeing this kiddos, it does consist of texting them. my sibs are the bomb.

LIES!!!!!!! no southwest. . . he talks into this and it types. he was helping me with a project. but.... it didn't type the right words and our family just ended giggling for about 5 minutes and we decided to put it away and type the paper old school.
you think.... then type.

the dilly's came down for a week! the babies had a v-ball tourney and they ended staying a week to hang! aud and i went to a couple of their games and it was a blast! i can't believe how big our little babies are getting.
i still call them babies. aaron wonders why.

rhea and sam got me WICKED tickets for my birthday!! (i know, props rhea, she is so already done for my birthday in september! she still owes me a pedi from last years birthday, and i am holding out until i REALLLLLLY want it :) i am ready whenever you are rheeeee!!)

whats awesome is we don't know the kid on paula's lap. she just finds men wherever she goes!
but whats double awesome is aarons cousins were down and came too! ohhh i loved it. i cannot tell you how AMAZING it was. for a girl who knew EVERY SONG to the musical you wonder why i haven't taken my booty to see it yet! but, alas, i went and it was EVERYTHING i expected. and then some.
elphie and allie. she did awesome. and i was star struck. so... i talked a lot and fast. and i think i even shook her at one point...

so we're all excited its BAAAK (how to spell?) so we gather. i said to him, were so excited to take a picture with baaaaak... the guy was like... well, i wasn't baak. i was just in the ensemble (sp) and bofore we could escape this just mediocre actor, the cameras went off. so here is us with OUR BAAAAK

and triple awesome!! my sisters went the same night! they were 3rd row. but what did you expect from them. see kates blog. HER AND AUD are musical lovers. she forgot to include me. i knew she just forgot to type my name, but she knows how much i love musicals. and esp singing wicked. even if it is leaving a message on her phone.

DAHL FAMILY REUNION TIME!! i have been hearing about this reunion for months. and i was soooo excited to go. it was such a great time. i think i married into the best family ever. above: steve being a stellar man and making jewelry. all the girls were envious wishing their hubby's would do the same.

happy fourth!!! and happy fishing! and happy allie getting bored while fishing and just talked taylor and aarons ear off and scared the fish off with my oar!!!

apples to apples! rhea got ticked because she is a woman of reason. and ... apples to apples has no reason. therefore her card rarely got picked = rhea getting annoyed.
